How does Invisalign® work?

Invisalign® gently and gradually guides your teeth into position using a series of custom-designed, almost invisible aligners. These aligners are made using a clear, thin plastic, based on 3D scans of your mouth so we can be sure you get an accurate and comfortable fit.

We start by taking impressions of your teeth and jaw using our iTero 3D scan technology. This forms the basis of your bespoke treatment plan when combined with your smile goals. We then split your plan into phases, with a set of aligners for each phase. You change these yourself at home to guide your teeth into their final positions.

Best described as a clear alternative to braces, aligners are essentially thin mouthguards that sit on the surface of your teeth. These almost undetectable aligners are worn for 22 hours a day so that your teeth are gently manipulated into their optimal position with little to no disruption to your daily life.
